Socially awkward, caffeine-addicted, and so pale she’s often mistaken as a ghost, Kristi began her writing career at age ten by penning her first book on notebook paper, self-illustrated, and bound with staples and masking tape. Her first science fiction story was written in eighth grade, receiving an A for the telling of the Gatorphant, half gator, half elephant. She continues to write action-packed stories in various genres, several of which are found in award-winning anthologies.
