Things have been absolutely crazy the last few weeks. Weather-wise, Hurricane Harvey blew through Texas, and now Irma plans to plow the Caribbean and Florida. If that wasn't enough, now Katia and Jose are brewing. An earthquake in Mexico has resulted in Tsunami warnings. Be safe out there. Mother Nature can be a mean one. She doesn't discriminate. No one is exempt from her wrath.

We've also been busy at Dark Oak Press. Malice in Memphis Writer's Group will be releasing our third anthology soon with the theme of historic Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis. Check out Elmwood here: www.elmwoodcemetery.org/
My second novel, Mysticalities, the follow-up to Mysta, is in production and should be released soon. Once I have the date, believe me, I'll be sure to pass it on. I'm excited about book two. Lots of intriguing things going on in Mysta's world.
Authors Around Town will be making appearances over the next few weeks as well. You will find me, Wes Yahola and Robert Krog at Two Rivers Book Store in Midtown Memphis, Saturday, September 23, from 4 to 6 pm. We will discuss Folklore in Fiction while signing copies of our books.
September 30th, you will find myself, Pat Sawtelle, Wes and Robert at the Germantown Library from 2 - 4. We will be signing copies of our books and will visit the Mid-south through Fiction.
You'll find me in Louisville, KY the first weekend in October for the Imaginarium Literary Conference. I'll be on a few panels about...you guessed it, writing. Find more here: www.entertheimaginarium.com/
